Loveland Academy Programs

Loveland offers the following programs to meet its mission and
goals to integrate the best aspects of education, with the best
practices of therapeutic treatment for children who need 1:1 attention.

In addition to the Programs on the left there is a
Pet-Assisted
Therapy Program
and Nike S.P.A.R.Q. Program.
Pet-Assisted Therapy: Loveland's Pet Assisted Therapy Program
allows students to interact with trained therapy dogs as a way to
improve their social and emotional skills. Weekly interaction with
therapy dogs has been proven to produce numerous benefits for
verbal and non-verbal clients alike.
Nike S.P.A.R.Q. Program: Middle and High School students are
encouraged to attend Adaptive Physical Education training twice a
week to increase their
Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and
Quickness. Students are exposed to core, endurance, flexibility,
agility and footwork training. The program goal is to increase
physical fitness while building a positive self-image.
Loveland Academy is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation
Facilities (CARF). For information on CARF visit the website: www.carf.org.
